Is it too late to be talking about Christmas? Is everyone already dreaming about summer holidaysand light evenings? Well here we are in mid January and I’m still bleating on about the festive season. What I got for Christmas posts are some of my favourite to read, maybe it’s because I’m nosey or maybe I’m just trying to get some giftspiration for my Birthday tomorrow? Or maybe it’s both.
I was incredibly lucky this year and received some absolutely wonderful gifts, so I thought I’d share a few of my favourites. And don’t get me wrong the best gift of all was being able to spend time with my loved ones! But you’re not here to read about my family Christmas dinner, so let’s get into it.
YSL Card Holder. The star of the show really, isn’t it stunning. As I’ve got older my tastes seem to have gotten more expensive *sorry everyone* and the Saint Laurent card holder has been on my lust list for so long. I’m not one for big bulky purses so this is the perfect compact wallet for me. Major thanks to my mum, step-dad and granny – you guys rock.
Sass & Belle Mirror. I love interiors, I love gold, I love everything about this mirror. I was convinced this little hexagonal beauty was out of stock so made for an even better surprise from my sister!
Boden Tea Towel. It’s become a bit of a thing to receive tea towels from my dad, but to be honest I think this one will be used more as a photography background. It’s far too lovely to mop up spillages or dry dishes with!
Prints. Lewis got me lots of wonderful presents that I’m obsessed with, including Gymshark leggings and Glossier skincare. However my favourite gift was print outs of our holiday snaps over the years, along with a scrap book to lay them all out in. It was such a thoughtful gift and one I can enjoy crafting together on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
Joy Beret. Did I think I could pull off this pom pom beret? No probably not, but I fell in love with it non the less. A little bird must have passed on the message as my boyfriends family kindly got it for me. I’m obsessed with it and it’s inspired me to up my hat game, hats are cool.
Away Suitcase. You know you’re getting old when a suitcase is at the top of your list. But the Away cases are like nothing else, combining style and practicality effortlessly. My dad chose me the Alpine carry-on which is in collaboration with photographer Gray Malin, featuring an interior lined with a gorgeous skiing print. And before you ask, yes I have already had to clean off all the dirt but it’s worth it.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and I promise I’ll stop talking about now!
