It’s a Lush Spring

But the chilly weather is actually making me want to jump in a cosy LUSH bath pronto, made all the easier with the latest spring releases.

Last week I was lucky enough to be invited down to the LUSH York store to see all the new Spring, Easter and Mother’s Day products in action. This was the stores first ever event and it was fantastic, we started off the evening with quick introductions and then were challenged to make Alice in Wonderland inspired figures out of Fun Soap*. I’d hoped my A-Level in Art would have helped me out here, but sadly my attempt at making a Cheshire Cat was atrocious, never the less we all had a good laugh.

We were then taken to different stations to see all the new products and it basically made me want to take the entire shop home with me. One of the standout spring products was the Bunch of Carrots*, a super cute selection of coloured carrot bubble bars that when run under the bath tap create beautiful soft bubbles. I also can’t wait to test out the Golden Egg Bath Bomb Melt*, because who doesn’t want to bathe in gold glitter?

After we’d swooned over all the new releases we were given free rein of the shop and I headed straight to the haircare section as I’ve not tried any of it before. I am now asking why on earth haven’t I tried it sooner? I decided to pick up the Roots Treatment and my hair has never felt better, softer or healthier. I massaged a fair amount into the roots of my hair and scalp and left it to work it’s magic for 20 mins before washing it out. I could write a full post on this fantastic product so a massive thank you to the lovely LUSH lady who recommended it to me.

I had a fantastic time and a huge thank you for all the goodies I came away with, here’s to many more events at LUSH York!

This sounds brilliant! How do you get involved in events? I’d love to go to some when I’m in York!

I’ve never used the hair treatments either, I love the sound of them so Roots Treatment sounds like a good one to start with!
