I wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve got cramp in your fingers from scrolling through all those photos! But now you’ve made this far you might as well keep reading!
The Makeup Revolution Amazing Lip Liners* dropped through my door a little while ago and I instantly tried out every single shade. Now it’s time to tell all about the hits and misses within the range!
Let’s get the bad news out of the way first, that being that a few unfortunately don’t live up to expectations. The lightest 3 shades are a complete no go, far too pale for even my ghostly complexion. However every cloud has a silver lining and the shade ‘Nearly Naked’ makes a brilliant eyeliner to brighten tired eyes! The darkest shade ‘Vamp’ is a beautiful colour but applies quite unevenly, I think a little reformulation is needed to really make this an amazing lip liner .
There’s a couple of ‘meh’ shades in there too, technical terminology I promise…
‘The One’ and ‘Bold Pink’ are both beautiful in formula but probably won’t see much wear from me, a true nude and a blue toned light pink just don’t take my fancy. But they might be perfect for you!
Now onto the good stuff, ‘Rebel’ and ‘Red Cherry’ are incredible. The formula is beautifully soft and opaque yet feel extremely light on the lips. They wear well throughout the day and I really can’t fault them! Another major bonus is the built in sharpeners within each lip liner lid, no longer do I have to rummage through my art drawer to get my lips on point!
At £1 a pop (or £6 for all 8) they’re an absolute bargain! You’d be silly not to pick up ‘Nearly Naked’, ‘Rebel’ and ‘Red Cherry’.
