Jouer Matte Moisture Tint

I couldn’t tell you how long this has been on my wish list, but finally the Jouer Matte Moisture Tint* has made it’s way into my collection. The guys at Blow Ltd. kindly let me pick something from their amazing range of beauty products and of course I went for the hard to get hold of brand, Jouer.

I’ve been slapping this on for the last week or so and I have to say I love it. This tinted moisturiser is like no other and has a very whipped almost moussey texture, that smooths onto the skin easily when blended with fingers or a brush. It’s extremely light weight, however manages to reduce redness and leaves a flawless base like that of a medium coverage foundation.

As a normal to oily skinned gal, I’m always on the look out for products that will keep the shine at bay. The Matte Moisture Tint leaves a satin finish that looks incredibly natural yet never cakey and there’s no need to powder throughout the day. However, I wouldn’t recommend this for those of you with dry skin as it may cling ever so slightly.

I have the shade Porcelain which is the lightest on offer, it has a yellow undertone which is great for counteracting my redness. It’s a tiny bit too dark for my current complexion (moomin Lucy over here) but come summer it will be the perfect shade, plus the added bonus of spf 15 for those sunny days, fingers crossed…

Overall I think this is an incredibly unique product and although it’s a little pricey it’s 100% worth it. If like me you’re looking for that light weight, good coverage, natural finish product, then this is the one.

This looks so lovely, I really like the finish! But if it's too dark for you, then there's no way that it'd suit my pale skin haha :) xx

This looks great on you, definitely tempted me to have a look at it myself, I love a matte finish to my base :)

Damn it. I was just thinking how good this sounded but then reading on and the fact it is a little on the yellow side and slightly dark for you I'm thinking I'd have no hope. Would maybe be willing to take a chance but seeing as it's on the pricier side I'm not too sure.

It really is a beautiful finish! It's extremely similar to MAC NC15 if that helps! xx

This looks really good! My face is quite oily and I'm always trying to combat redness, although it's a bit pricey for me at the mo.
