The sun has begun shining away this week so I’ve declared that it’s now officially spring, and officially the start of Spring Week here on Dinosaur Dances. So check back over the next 5 days for more spring related posts!
But onto what I’m slapping on for SS15!
Base. Keeping it light I buffed in a little of the L’Oreal True Match Foundation and used NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer on blemishes and dark circles. I then swept a tiny bit of the Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Powder across the T-zone to keep oil at bay.
Colour. Firstly I warmed up my skin by taking a small amount of the Soap & Glory Solar Powder across the tops of my cheeks and through the hair line. As the days get warmer I’m bringing back the blusher, so on a large fluffy brush I buffed in a touch of the Lipstick Queen Oxymoron in Free Ride. I then used my finger to push the Oxymoron into the lips!
Contour & Highlight. Then to define my face a little I used a light hand and a mixture of shades in the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit through the back of my cheekbones, temples and down the sides of my nose. Lastly to keep the skin looking fresh I piled on plenty of highlighter from the same contour palette on the top of the cheeks, brow bone, nose and cupids bow.
Eyes & Brows. Brows are left bold and messy as usual, using the Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel in Strike and the Maybelline Brow Drama! For the eyes I dusted beige from the Lorac Pro 2 Palette across the lid and in the inner corner, finishing off with plenty of Max Factor False Lash Effect Waterproof Mascara and tight lining the eyes with Illamasqua Precision Gel Liner.
So there we go, the first instalment of Spring Week complete. What makeup will you be wearing come the warmer weather?
