Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Super Wow Lip Colour Sticks

Well done, you’ve made it through all the photos! And when the new Makeup Revolution Super Wow Lip Colour Sticks* dropped through my letterbox, I knew I had to get swatching them all!

The Super Wow Sticks come in the classic crayon packaging with a twist up bottom. However I will warn you to open them carefully as when I took the lid off the entire lipstick bullet went flying across the room!

But once you’ve managed to safely open them, you’re faced with a super matte, high pigment formula that is super easy to apply straight from the bullet. Now unfortunately I really didn’t get on well with a couple of the shades, namely Rap-ture, Dreaming & Heart of Glass. I found these shades were extremely drying and uncomfortable on the lips, not to mention the shades are just too light for me!

But with those 3 aside, I absolutely love the other 5 shades! Hanging on the Telephone and Sunday Girl have a slight shimmer in them, although they still have the matte finish.
I also can’t get enough of Atomic the vibrant orange, Call Me the classic red and Maria the deep burgundy! These shades are still super matte, but comfortable on the lips, which is obviously why I’m smiling in those swatches…
Oh and once these are on, they aren’t coming off any time soon, that’s for sure!

One last note, the actual product packaging doesn’t have the shade name on which could get a little annoying if can’t find the shade you’re after! So in the boxes they will stay!

At £2.99 I would definitely recommend picking up the 5 darker shades, but maybe steer clear of the lighter ones…

Dreaming is a gorgeous colour, but damn the formula! Like the look of Sunday Girl too though. Great swatches!

The lighter shades do look a bit chalky, though the brighter and darker ones are lovely on you :)

These look gorgeous, I have my eye on Maria now, I'm a sucker for that sort of lip colour. They are all gorgeous and those brighter shades look gorgeous on you. I'll probably end up getting all five! :)

These look awesome and for an even more natural look you could apply a little bit and pat it in with your finger for a more flushed kind of look! Thanks for all the great swatches and pictures!

Check out my blog sometime? :)

Never heard of this brand before – looks great! Matte lip crayons are really having a boom right now. My favourites Hanging on the Telephone.
