Baker Days Letterbox Cake

If you’ve read round these parts before, then you’ll know that I have a bit of a sweet tooth. Remember the time I tried to pass off banana cake as one of my 5-a-day?

Well the lovely folk at Baker Days told me all about their letterbox cakes*, that’s right, cake delivered straight to your door.
And when one popped through my letterbox, I was very excited, and hungry…

You can choose from various designs or personalise the cake, so I went for my Dinosaur Dances logo. Not only does the cake look amazing but it tasted pretty darn good too, not a soggy bottom in sight!
The cake is 5 inches in diameter, which isn’t huge but lasted me a couple of days. It was housed in a sturdy tin to keep it safe in transit and it also came with candles and balloons!
At £14.99 it’s a bit pricey if you’re just feeling peckish, but as a surprise gift for a friend I think it’s perfect. In fact my friend Lauren has already requested one for her birthday!
Now excuse me while I finish the last slice…
