Escentuals Haul & #DareToBare

Today I’m baring all in aid of Cancer Research UK, well only a naked face…

But first let’s get hauling!

Avene Soothing Hydrating Serum*. Escentuals sent this my way to review but it’s yet to have a proper road test. However on first impressions it’s a very light gel texture serum, that sinks into the skin instantly leaving it very plumped and smooth. I will of course report back at a later date with a full review and whether it’s made any significant difference to my skin.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo +. My skin has been a little bit crazy lately and I was after something to help clear it up, so in went Effaclar Duo + (into my virtual shopping basket that is). I’m not sure whether its working or not, the giant volcano esq. spot on my face would say not…

Vichy DermaBlend Foundation. Whilst my skin is not cooperating I was after something heavy duty to cover it up. The DermaBlend range is formulated to help cover servere pigmentation and scars and it does just that.

Finally lets address the lovely bare faced picture above. Back in October Escentual started a #DareToBare campaign in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness month and in the last week the ‘no makeup selfie’ has gone viral and raised over £8 million.
I thought it was the perfect opportunity to share my no makeup face and donate to Cancer Research UK, and don’t forget to join in and text ‘BEAT’ to 70007.

Oh and don’t forget there is up to 30% off french pharmacy brands at Escentual until the end of March!

it's a shame that the #daretobare campaign didn't quite take off like the #nomakeupselfie did!

I know, it is a shame! But still wonderful that so much money has been raised! x
